Dirk Pippen

Dirk passed away unexpectedly February 15, 2024 at his home in Euless, Texas.

He was born March 14, 1960 in Abilene, Texas. He was the son of Benny C.Pippen and Melva Bailey Pippen. He attended Abilene and Wylie schools. In 1977 he received his GED and joined the US Navy as a communications intelligence specialist until 1981. He worked for Walmart for 22 years until his retirement in 2017.

He is preceded in death by his parents Benny and Melva Pippen; Grandparents Clarence and Jesse Pippen, and Burton and Maudie Bailey; a great niece Lillian Martin; great nephews Ryder Martin and Gavyn Lee.

He is survived by sisters Dana Zellman and Kristi Pippen; nieces Mandi and husband JJ Lee, Shay and Jbart Eison, and Audrey Martin; nephew Dakota Wallace and several nieces and nephews; Pyper Lee, Trypp Lee, Jemma Eison, Nash Eison, Breck Eison, Lexxie Baker and Hank Little.

Dirk was an avid hunter and loved to bowl. He will always be remembered as a kind, gentle soul, a good man who loved his family and others.

He will be greatly missed by all of us.

Dirk will be laid to rest at the Abilene Veterans Cemetery.
